Family value pack of chicken breasts I can get for about $7 (enough for two meals). If I get the skinless boneless thighs it's about $5 (and enough for two meals). Two heads of Romaine for about $2 (two dinners). Two large tomatoes another $2-$3. One cucumber $98 (two meals). A bag of potatoes for $1.98 (lasts many, many meals).
So that adds up to for each meal
$2.50 - $3.50 for the chicken
.50 for the potatoes
$1 - lettuce
$1.50 tomatoes
.50 cucumber
That's a nutritous meal every night for between $6 and $7. A savings of $4 to $5 for every dinner. $28 - $30 a week, $112 to $120 a month, etc., etc.
