So if you've read my ongoing saga about my sister's latest fuck up this is where we're at...
Tomorrow I go in to the Sheriff's with the Claim of Exception to try and get my dad's money back. If that's not successful than the following is a moot point...
If it is however then that means that we'll have to engage in further legal services to get the case back in court, and then the actual court case.
So I just talked to my friend/attorney who would be the one taking over the case if we're successful. We talked about the amount of work and what his fees would be...around $4,000 all told. Now, my sister doesn't have that kind of money, and how can I tell my dad he got his money back to turn around and tell him "oh, but you're going to need to shell out $4k to help out your daughter...again..." Cause let's face it, she fucked up once she'll probably fuck up again and then we're right back where we started. Now my friend offered up the alternative of me coming down to work for him as payment. Which I think is very kind given our circumstances, and I enjoyed working for him before. But...when the fuck is my sister going to have to pay for her mistakes? Why is it always my dad, or me, paying for them. I'm really just so livid right now I can't even think straight, or even think about her without wanting to force choke her.
ugh
