i saw The Wrestler this weekend. wow, what a disappointment.. (spoilers)

i have really loved all of Aronofsky's work up to this point, even The Fountain, for the visual.. the misery he usually portrays... but this was just boring. the stuff with The Ram's daughter was very pointless and predictable..
just felt like there was no tension, no suspense, etc...it was shot nicely, but there was nothing that jumped out at me except for the match when he has a heart attack, but that was just becuase it was so over the top.
perhaps it's because it was not an Aronofsky's script, but i was so disappointed in the movie..
