reminds me of a deer incident i had back around New Years ... (not safe for animal lovers?) ...

i was working a PT job about 25 minute drive from home,,, lots of late evening shifts.... on the way home, saw a couple cars in the middle lane (5 lanes here....2 going each way and a middle turn lane) ... i slowed down, thinking there'd been an accident and the cops hadn't showed up yet ... well, long and short is that there was a deer in the road that had apparently been hit by one of the cars,,,, several people standing there kinda like "what do we do now" ... the worst part? the deer was jerking around, like it had been hurt bad but was still alive, and it couldn't get up or anything.
i felt terrible for the deer.... i almost wished i had a gun just so i could put the poor thing out of its misery.
