I'm thinking the sooner the better as more states will legalize and it's just a matter of time before the feds do as well. -- (edited)

Cuomo said today that NY will legalize it this year. That's a lot of business as NY smokes more weed than anywhere else. Not my stat, one I saw everywhere last year.
I'd buy some today if I had extra money to invest
