something I don’t like as a general rule of thumb, I’d have a hard time living my best life in influencing those around me to be decent people.
Think truly how you want to die. Is it fist-shaking against a computer screen at some unnamed redneck hick you aren’t in a position to impact ... or in the comfortable embrace of loved ones years down the road, knowing you were the best version of you in impacting those around you?
Me, I like living my life, fully aware there’s evil and stupid in the world that I can’t touch.
