So the nutshell version of the story has been "Travel out to the west coast and connect as many cities and areas as you can to the network. When you get all the way west, get the President and bring her back."
So I get all the way west. Boss battle. Blah blah blah. Main antagonist (I think) survives and manages to take the President hostage and disappears using one of the in-game mechanics of travel.
Now the main part is "Come all the way back east so we can regroup. Oh by the way, you can't fast travel."
It's not as far as it sounds, I'm finding, but even Reedus' character in the game has said "Fuck this shit." at least once as he's not impressed about going all the wat back east.
Still truly enjoying the game however, as the story is quite excellent.
