read the link below.. from 2014. we're at a point where we are debating facts. the president said "dems never asked bolton to testify" and instead of saying "hey, fuck off, that's a complete lie", we have to DEBATE it and defend the position of fact.
David Roberts' statement "Idea that tech+sci advanced society could be dragged down by what is effectively a large-scale cult seems unthinkable." is spot on. It is unthinkable, but it shouldn't be. antivaxxing has taken on a terrifying life of it's own. it should have been stopped by facts, but those are all up for debate.
