You are right, you generally can't spit without hitting a new Nike sneaker of a Brazilian tourist.
Funny story. The second time I went to Disney, it was my sister's first, along with our parents. She must have been 15 yo or so, I guess, and she has always been an extremely good-looking person if I can say so myself. Anyway, we were going around the lake. A bus drives by a couple of Brazilian kids start catcalling her from up above, thinking she is a gringa that won't understand one word. Never one to not talk back, she curses back at them. An old phys-ed teacher of her recognizes her voice, stands up, says hello to her and grounds the two kids.
