LYC: Got home today from The Rock Boat cruise. Obviously, this cruise is made for me and MrsJax.

Same ship as the Rock N Wrestling Rager at Sea, that docked before us. It's crazy how quickly they switch it over from Wrestling themes to 5 main "festival" stages throughout the boat.

5 days worth of bands, saw all of the following (some more than once):
Allen Mack Myers Moore
Amy Gerhartz
Animal Years
Carbon Leaf
Emily Wolfe
Gaelic Storm
Hero the Band
Ingram Hill
JR Moore
Lawrence
Melodime
Motherfolk
Sammy Rae & The Friends
SCR
Sister Hazel
Ken & Drew (of Sister Hazel, acoustic show)
Sixthman Sessions
The Bones of J.R. Jones
The Brevet
The Unlikely Candidates
Tonic
Tony Lucca
Welshly Arms
Whiskey Treaty Road Show

Only missed seeing Liz Brasher and NEEDTOBREATHE, and really saw just a song or two of Wideawake and Tall Heights. (Saw Needtobreathe before, though.)

Had only seen a few of these before, so new surprises were Carbon Leaf and Welshly Arms. Welshly Arms is very, very good.

Even got into our first "Cabin Shows" this year (maybe 20-30 people in a ship's cabin, and an artist comes in and plays acoustic for ~30 minutes). They're fairly difficult to get into / find, but got to see Animal Years, Motherfolk, and Tony Lucca. Very special.

Earthquake didn't affect us, but I so love disconnecting from the world for 5+ days - didn't even know about it.
Did hear about Kobe (while in Belize), but no internet (and unlimited Michelob Ultra) for 5 days is very freeing.
