More Orient Express fun...

While the original Orient Express operator, Compagnie Internationale des Wagons-Lits, no longer operates the luxury train, the surviving elements were purchased by Belmond Limited which operates a new Orient Express. This company is more than just the Orient Express, operating numerous luxury train lines, river cruises, hotels, and restaurants around the world. More relevant, it is a subsidiary of everything lux company LVMH (i.e. "Moët Hennessy – Louis Vuitton SE") which just recently - as posted on ST - bought Tiffany's. It would appear that the world of high class luxury is seeing some major consolidation.
