The game is set up to betray your allies at the end. They even showed Joey being tempted to rank Shubham 4th while ending up ranking him 2nd. Even the drop to 2nd from a justified 1st place ranking for his best buddy in the game was likely a difference maker in the win. Shubham ranked Joey 1st. Sammy ranked Joey 1st.
