Not because there's anything nefarious in Bacon's edit, but it does reframe the following posts and that creates, at a minimum, confusion in the points being argued.

  - It really isn't a priority. This group is not in the habit of using edit to maliciously change the look of the discussion. - TWuG Feb 4, 20:26
  - FWIW, not exposing the interface also makes it possible to "delete" accidental image uploads or bad links. So I'd have to have a separate mechanism - Beryllium Feb 4, 20:23
