I love the The Alternate History section which shows how the IAAF could have very reasonably let the Vaporflys into competition.

The other section that I had no idea about is that the swimming records that were set with skin suits, nearly all of those records have been broken since the ban of that technology so uh, yay for humankind evolution and non gear technology (training)?

The simple story of an unfair shoe with “springs” doesn’t capture the true complexity of the ongoing debate about technology in footwear (www.outsideonline.com)
