Happy "toss a crumb to your proles" day.

Last defeatist post of the day, I promise. 🤞

But "tweet that you hold position X, to be celebrated by people who are *desperate* for hope, only to either change it to position Y or for it to not matter overall because of reason Z" is the pattern du jour. Over and over and over and over. Is it narcissism? Trolling? Or, when the position is held fast, is it a low-risk way to garner additional support?
