theory with this is it would get the mediocre Angels and Mike Trout into the playoffs.

I couldn't hate this idea more and it's just another reason Manfred is wrong for the job. He failed to stop the cheating, failed to punish the team or players in any meaningful way and now wants to change the playoffs in a horrible way.

Fire Manfred!
