I’m reading, he has built a sophisticated and extremely well funded machine with state of the art digital advertising. In some ways he just co-opted what the Russians did and is doing it himself (and the Russians will do their part too). And his people are thoughtfully plotting a path for him. He got lucky last time. This time he won’t need as much luck. They have the power and money to make their own luck. Again, not saying he will win, but not at all comfortable that he won’t.
