And the airline is happy to let them fight if it means they ignore that seat spacing is entirely unacceptable.

Also, planes are made to travel in, not do work in, so the travel comfort comes before work comfort. If you've got the shit, can't recline seat, sucks to be you, but the person in front of you gets to recline if they want because they can. Acting petulant about it is the worse behavior.
