my threshold is basically 'cross-country or greater' which works out to over about 4.5 hours. always upright for meal service, or you're terrible.

that being said, you don't know how long people have been travelling before this flight, whether they have some sort of disability or condition, or whatever else. regardless if you're reclining on short flights I'll probably think you're a delicate little flower.
