not a peep from him since 12/26. baseboard heaters still in house, but everything else is done. I'm not unhappy with what was done, I just wanted the baseboard heaters out most urgently and told him so and so was disappointed when he ghosted with the work incomplete.

sent me a bill (it arrived 2/14) for the work he did. fair price; sure whatever. I'll pay it. but I'm pissed that he ghosted without taking out the baseboards or even talking to me.

I have not yet remitted payment (it's been three days, yo). he just called me and asked if I'd paid. I said "no, I didn't think getting payment was a priority for you since you took almost two months to bill me."

yes, I am being a bitch on purpose, I totally admit (PLEASE COME TAKE OUT MY BASEBOARDS). but is threatening to take me to small claims court if I don't pay him cash *tomorrow* a good look?

I don't think so. right??
