And the McLaren never had a chance beating it in a drag race. Electric cars are great off the line.

They have all of their power available instantly while a car with a combustion engine needs to build up power. Things seem to even out a bit in longer races but if things are equal the electric will win the 1/4 mile race thanks to how it gets off the line so quickly.
