1) I think that undercounts (a bit, probably not a ton) people who see news in their twitter feed but don't intentionally Twitter it as a news source. (Pretty sure the majority of Americans don't use Twitter regularly for anything, so it makes sense that only a minority would get news there)
2) The writers/talking heads/hosts/analysts/whatever in the media universe are very active on Twitter so the conversations/themes there do bleed into other news sources.
