I have a real issue with the 'fans' threatening people in the name? spirit? of the Astros cheating scandal.

I'm the first to think that the players are going to thrown at while at the plate and perhaps even on the basepaths. Uh....and that's kind of the game? So I'm no saint

However there's nothing in this context, no matter how upset one is, that justifies threatening the family members of the players with physical violence, rape, cancer, and death

The hell is wrong with people?

Perhaps an alternate take, when did it become acceptable to post such threats in public?

Though back to the fundamental of why would one even think that?

I mean that type of punishment is on an eye for an eye basis and even that's kind of tough to justify even in an eye for eye situation
