I keep imagining I'll be the last in every online platform I use, but it's never the case.

I'll be the last on this form or that game... it'll be some wasteland where no one logs in any more and I'll roam freely in some post-apocalyptic bitworld. But it's never happens, and it's not nearly as romantic (is that even the right word?) as you think.
Certainly, there are abandoned forums out there that continue to exist, but if no one's posting, what's the point of browsing them. It's a little bit more interesting in some free-to-play games when you login and you notice someone in the distance, but it gets boring fast.
