I'm more laughing at the fact that they had no plan for this a month ago. Then, Goldberg came on Smackdown, and ratings went up 20% for the segment. Each time he's appeared, ratings have increased by at least 15%.
And since Vince answers to Fox now, Goldberg becomes champion because of it.
A recurring character on an ABC sitcom is now the champion on a Fox show, by the way.
