when i was a kid and my mom had her first major reaction around me, when she basically had no idea what was going on, the doc told me to quickly stir sugar into some oj and force her to drink it. i was in such a panic that i put half the sugar bowl in there and she came to wondering why she had a sugar crust around her mouth. heh. good times.
