Effing Landlords. I was somehow $2.86 short on my check this month which is rent and most utilities. They want it today.

Fine. I walk up there with a check as I pay my rent. Oh, no checks after the 4th.

You do realize that me going to get a money order for this amount is going to cost more than $2.86 right?

And I’m like please don’t make me be a Karen. But alas I did have to speak to a manager to get the check payment accepted.
Yes I do need a receipt.
I have not yet signed my 6th year lease.
