I think I was in denial about how this could affect our office but yesterday and today has got me think a lot more: oh shiiiiit.

Up until yesterday, I remember October 2008 feeling more dire until we dodged the bullet (and then felt a two-year fallout of corporate clients with constricted budgets). After 9/11/01 there were humvees parked around our area and we had to show ID to get through the perimeter to get to our office building, because it's close enough to the White House. But that was maybe one day out of work and the rest of the week under security, and then things returned to normal.

This feels like two months of a ghost town while trying to scramble to work around logistical issues. We just had a bunch of our sales people point out that with schools closing and kids needing to learn from home, they'll need extra computers at home to telework.
