STIS: HD TV shopping question..

So, I won't have cable TV, so I'll be using my Mac or PC for my media computer (I don't think Netflix watch it now is available on Mac, so I'll probably use a KVM ane use both)

I don't want to spend much.. I've looked at 32" Dynex HD (720p) TVs and they're around $350, which seems good. Any reason I should up to 1080p and spend that much more money? Anybody else gone the half-HD way?

Just doesn't seem like spending $1000 on a TV is worth it at the moment...
