The parks aren't just open right now. They're quite crowded. Walt Disney World's having a record-shattering year for attendance. People apparently waited a year for Star Wars Land to die down, a strategy that has backfired.

The western states have worse issues with COVID-19 than the south thus far. I expect that Disney won't close WDW until the situation escalates.
