Just went in and the usual desk young lady was there

I asked her what she thought would happen and she became apologetic and said that they planned to try to reopen April 1 depending on nyc guidelines but not to worry they wouldn’t charge the membership if they didn’t and were looking into refunding half of this month—all unprompted But probably because many of the rich privileged asshole bankers that attend the gym had asked about that?

Anyway I just brushed it off and laughed and said oh I wouldn’t worry about that, come on I think people who come to this gym can afford to pay for an extra month it’s you guys I’d be worried about

She burst into tears right there and then and just nodded and I was like...uh. I’m sorry? I shouldn’t hug you
