I was watching Mysteries of the Abandoned and they had a map of AT&T communications bunkers spread over the US. That would be perfect.

The problem with missile silos is that they flood and act like cisterns. The communication bunker is a faraday cage and has drainage and climate controls to protect the electronics.
We need to buy one of those, STAT.
