(My point on B2 is that when we get the risk/death numbers to numbers we can live morally with - clearly, the flu numbers, we will carry on)

We don’t social distance cause of the flu
We know the flu exists and that it kills people but the risk is pushed to the low enough threshold that both as a human species and as an individual are ok taking the risk of going out into a subway that perhaps we could get flu and die or into a car crash)
If we had gotten a head start on treatment (finding treatment, I’m not saying there is treatment) and testing so we can contain and isolate contacts, less drastic steps may have been avoided
