In response to "Hey folks, I waited before reading responses to virus inquiry on b2. That's a lot of stories! I think some of you had flu or other things. " by loosilu

I honestly think I may have had COVID in feb after my big ten meeeting.

I travelled to columbus for a BTAA meeting in feb. we had reps from six schools, big ten central people, and consultants. we were there for four days.

a woman in our group was openly coughing; she was at my table for almost two full days.

I felt like shit the whole drive home thursday. I had a fever (like I have a thermometer, so I don't know how high but I was freezing and had chills like mad) by midnight thursday and was dry coughing so called in sick on friday (this means I called into meetings; I can't be actually sick).

friday morning I was so exhausted that I had to take breaks from work. on friday afternoon I was winded from walking up the ten steps to my attic and couldn't talk for the first ten minutes of a meeting. I had crazy body aches and a very intermittent dry cough.

saturday I was miserable -- again fever and chills -- and went to bed at like 7pm under an electric blanket turned up to ten (still cold).

sunday morning I was 60%. by monday afternoon I was 95% fine. I have never had a cold or flu hit that hard that fast and disappear just as fast.
