Just took the dog for a walk and it is creepy AF out there...

Normally I avoid taking Darwin for a walk in the evenings, cause when we come upon other dags out for walks with their owners he is a nightmare on the leash.
But figured needed to get out of the house so off we went, with me fully prepared to change course upon approaching another dog.
Didn't come across a single other person out walking their dog in roughly 40 minutes. In this neighborhood, that is insane. Hardly any traffic either. All the houses were quiet. Lights were on but they felt... dead.
I felt like most of the world was already gone and I was one of the few survivors.
