Italy they say was because the sheer numbers of elderly...but also it broke wild n out of control and they were flooded with intensive care victims

and no place for them, so 'triage' ? first there had to be an opening for them, when one died, they had to decide which of the others they had a chance to save, one of the criteria was..besides age of patient and current progression BUT did the patient have family to support them if they survived because if you are hammered that hard that you need ventilator to breathe, you are permanently impacted, disabled, can't climb stairs fucked up and need help living
