To that point. Google is telling me that the population density of Italy is 532 per square mile. -- (edited)

The US is around 90 per square mile. Ok fine. BUT
But Westchester County, NY (just north of NYC, and one of NY's major hotspots for the virus) is *2109* per square mile.
NYC is 66,940 people per square mile
One of Florida's first cases was in Hillsborough County (which includes Tampa). 1134 density per my calculations.
Even Franklin County, OH (which includes Columbus, but I'm looking at the whole county here) is 599 per square mile per my calculations.
