In response to "Gov Cuomo: 2382 confirmed cases in New York, up 1008 from Tuesday. Mandatory 50% reduction in all non-essential staff -50% of workforce must stay home -- nm" by decline

NYT confirms 2382 but says up 800 (still not good) from Tuesday. Also, partly due to increased testing

"As of Wednesday morning, 2,382 people had tested positive in New York State, an increase of more than 800 since Tuesday. In New York City, 1,339 people have tested positive, up from 814 yesterday.

Mr. Cuomo said that much of the jump is attributable to an increase in testing. Of the 14,597 people who have been tested so far, nearly 5,000 were tested yesterday."
