Have I done my plant a garden rant here yet? and if you usually have a garden double the size this year.

We are not going to starve. There is plenty of food and there will be.

That said, there may be interruptions for periods of time on FRESH food. Now I am not going to put a cow or pig in my yard for meat. I am thinking about getting a couple chickens though.

I have also started my garden and will triple it from the biggest garden I ever had.

Think WW2 Victory Garden! If you do this, you will have fresh foods all summer long. If you wait for the problem to materialize it will be too late to plant one.

Think ahead, plant a garden.

So, I have 3 Zuchini, 1 Pumpkin (sugar for eating), 12 tomatoes, 6 peas, 1 watermellon, a yellow crookneck squash, every herb you can think of, chives, onions, 8 corn, 30 lettuces, red onions, green onions, raspberries, I bought a lime tree, 3 artichoke, 2 asparagus, 1 cucumber, 3 broccoli, 1 cantaloupe, and some tomatillos. I am sure I forgot a couple.

I plan on sharing my bounty with family, friends and neighbors in need.

Victory Garden!!

(yes I know some of you cannot have a garden) A couple tomato plants in the window. I did that one year and had a huge bounty of them.
