I’m amazed Midnight Oil made it so big. Growing up in Australia is like being in a bubble.

People would talk up bands as being big internationally, but you didn’t have a sense of whether that was true or just the publicity talking.
But there I was in Mexico last month and Beds are Burning came on the radio and I thought “wow, Midnight Oil really did make it”
