So I assumed it was inevitable, but I'm pretty sure I'm having symptoms.

I've had a slight cough for a while now which are the lingering effects of being sick in like mid-February. But it's generally productive (because Mucinex-D is great) and doesn't keep me up at night at all. I don't think I've been feverish at all (how to tell without being able to buy a thermometer?), but starting late yesterday, it's become a little harder to take a full breath in. It also causes me to yawn a lot, probably because I'm not getting full breathes (i'm not, like, panting or breathless though).
It's similar to a feeling I had a few years ago when I had a cough that lingered for months and a trip to urgent care resulted in a sample of Symbicort which helped a ton. I don't often go to doctors (and in fact don't have a regular doctor, which is probably something I should remedy at 40) so I don't have available refills for any sort of medications.
I contacted the big provider in the area, called their coronavirus hotline number and was given an appointment for the 30th, yeah, a week.
I set up a teledoc account and the best they could do is tomorrow afternoon. I'm going to have to break the news to my boss later and he'll be frustrated but understanding (and also a little scared because who knows how long I've had it without any symptoms?).

Order a thermometer. Kind of essential in the new day and age. -- nm

Not having a thermometer is super tough. I have thought fever is mandatory as a symptom when you get that far along. -- nm

Take care of yourself, talk to the teledoc. Could it be bronchitis? You’d feel a fever right? -- nm
