I live a few blocks from the entrance to the Midtown Tunnel and it's been so quiet in the mornings that I'm not being woken up at 6, 6:30, 6:45 etc.

Obviously I hate this situation but I'm loving the quiet in my neighborhood like it's the day after a snow storm.
It's normally very loud outside my place. I live on a corner of a major avenue that's a truck route, has a bus line and I'm above a subway station. Literally above it. I can hear the sound before the doors close.
But right now it's so quiet and I'm enjoying it while it lasts. Though, now normal everyday sounds are amplified when before it was more of a jumbled mess of sounds.
