Reminds me of a harmless practical joke I played on a friend.

He and his wife were out of town and I was stopping by regularly to pick up their mail and to feed and snuggle their cats.
Now my friend likes to cook and is very organized. The spice rack on his kitchen wall was alphabetized. I took it upon myself to reverse the order, being sure to preserve the location of the unlabeled, empty jars.
It took him a lot longer than I expected to figure out what happened, but he knew immediately who was responsible. His wife thought it was hilarious.
