stuff. That makes him look coherent, it removes the context that shows he's out of his element and is callous about the consequences of his inadequate reaction to this pandemic.

They can't fact-check in real-time, though, and most people won't stay tuned for the analysis.

But I think it's better that they don't show edited material at all, show him live. Then use the analysis time and further coverage to expand on what he's gotten wrong or makes up.

If he's getting most stuff right, great. Report that, but it's pretty clear he isn't and won't.
