I assume she (or her husband) knew exactly what they had. The cards were ordered in terms of value.

Also... MTG was hot almost from day 1. Sure, there’s scarcity, but I imagine there’s many kids of the 90s out there with complete alpha and beta sets. The 90s was the peak of comic book and card collecting. All anyone ever did was buy shit and put it in a sleeve.
