I’d put away the pitchforks. The urgent care story on b2 doesn’t pass the smell test.

1. We are specifically being told do not go to urgent care if you have COVID symptoms as they don’t have tests. Either go to the ER or get an order from your doctor for a drive through test.

2. California and the Feds have state payment for testing so there is no reason for them to turn him away for lack of payment ability.

3. If he was so sick he had a heart attack on the way to the hospital there is nothing that an urgent care could have done for him anyway.

My guess is he presented with obvious symptoms there was nothing they could do so they pointed him towards the hospital for treatment.
