there's a rehab / non-quite nursing home place in town. they take in a lot of people, mostly elderly, who need rehabilitation and I think physical therapy. apparently, in the past 2 days, there's been a couple patients test positive for covid-19. yesterday evening, they started clearing out patients, transporting them to the local hospital here in town, which was prepping itself to take them in. as of right now, approximately 20 people from the facility have tested positive.
apparently, 2 weeks ago, a few people who work there were exhibiting signs of the virus, even though they tested negative at the time?. why they didn't start taking precautions then, I don't know.
I mean, i'm not freaking out over this virus thing. but even I know that you take due responsible precautions. especially when you're a health care facility....
