interesting. I've never lived in a place where my download speed didn't exceed my advertised down speed. I must be very lucky.

of course, here I am afraid to speed test, but here I am in a house by myself so by your logic, I should have the full quoted speed?

It would seem so, unless it's a neighborhood share. I think it's less of a problem for cable than it used to be though. -- nm
