Frankly, going all online is the best thing that can happen to many brick and mortar stores.

They're dying and a lot of their overhead comes from their physical footprint. If they can ship directly from their warehouses and abandon their physical presence, that'll make them more competitive against Amazon. If they think having a physical store is what keeps them going, I think their bottom line would disagree. But on the web, they're equal to Amazon. Offer competitive prices and a pleasant shopping experience, and you can survive.
