The modem wouldn't link with their server reliably, their DHCP configuration was completely worthless, and they blamed it on US.

Meanwhile, we were both computer science majors, so they could clearly fuck right off.
On top of that, any time we called them, we had to hold for at least 30 to 45 minutes. It was so bad that one time when we called TELUS, after bringing a cable modem home from Shaw, we hooked up the cable modem and got it fully operational *WHILE WE WERE ON HOLD*. When they finally came back, I said "Well, we just got Shaw working, so I guess we don't need you any more. Goodbye."
